Mindful Moments Emotions Activity Set

These Mindful Moments activity sets are full of emotional learning for ages 5-8 years or 9-11 years.

Social emotional learning helps children to respond rather than react where they begin to use their rational thinking skills and self regulation.  It develops emotional self awareness (how moods affect others), empathy (understanding emotions of other people), motivation (perseverance through any obstacles and social skills. 

Activities include an emotion wheel and looking at what feelings look like and ways to support through the more difficult ones, examples of different ways that can help, breathing activities, growth mindset worksheets, an affirmation game, colouring, a 4 weekly challenge chart and affirmations for daily use – all designed to promote a positive and healthy mind.
