Using the gnome-emojis in this workbook, children can begin to increase their emotional vocabulary and help label their own feelings.

This PDF version has spaces for drawing where children can use their imagination to describe what a certain emotion might look like with shapes and colours. It is a safe way in which they can explore their feelings, especially if they may not have the language skills to process them.

There are also strategies listed which relate to each of the emotions, along with questions where they can think of other ways to help themselves. Also included are scenarios to put some emotions into greater context and the sheets can be kept and referred back to.
