These PDF activity sheets are designed for aged 3-6 years, when children are becoming aware of the basic emotions. Helping them to understand their own feelings gives them a sense of what is going on around them and gives them chance to practise how to manage these emotions.

The worksheets have emotions to draw and colour in, then further explore the different things that can make them feel those emotions and ways to support the more difficult ones.

The six basic emotions are: happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised and safe.
